Miranda vs. Arizona
Miranda vs. Arizona was a Supreme Court case, in 1966, that limits the power of police to question a suspect. The ruling determinedthat the police must tell the suspect that he has rights, such as the right to talk to an attorney. Without being told of their rights, the suspect's testimony cannot be used against him in a trial.
